Trending Starship :D

ALERTING ALL STARKID FANS!

If you have a Twitter you may (or may not) know that Starkid fans tried recently to get #STARSHIP to trend…it wasn’t entirely successful, but FEAR NOT…We’re back with a plan.

The date now set to do this is 11th Feb around 7pm EST (12pm British time). Here’s the link to the Facebook group…JOIN JOIN JOIN…http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_166302323417513

“The goal of this group is to coordinate an effort to get #Starship to trend on Twitter on Friday, February 11, 2011, at 7 p.m. EST. This is ONE HOUR before the opening performance of Starship in Chicago. If you are going to the opening performance, we REALLY would like if you could tweet what’s going on in the line from your phone using the hashtag #Starship. If you are not going to the opening performance, you don’t have an excuse not to be online tweeting your heart out! Remember:

1. Don’t use the #Starship hashtag more than once per tweet. We don’t know for sure this is counted as spam, but we do know Twitter is more likely to suspend accounts doing this, and we need all of you! Tweet an AVPM, AVPS, MAMD, or other StarKid-related quote and stick #Starship on the end if you can’t think of anything to say.

2. Try to phrase some of your tweets in such a way that non-StarKids will understand what you are talking about. We want to introduce new people to #Starship. Link to StarKid videos, StarKid websites, StarKid-related Tumblrs, whatever, just give people something to look at.

3. Be on time!! Our only shot at this is getting EVERYONE to tweet at the SAME TIME. Once it gets trending, if we have enough interest from people because they’re looking at our links, then we’ll get all of those “wuts starship lol whys it trending” tweets which only helps our cause!

Okay, so this barely Starkid-related.

If any of you are watching Darren on Glee and love his character (like me) you should read this fanfiction by this girl.

It’s a story about Dalton Academy and what happens to Kurt when he transfers there. It’s really good fucking fantastic. :D
